Here is a part of interview: "One of Crystal's favorite songs is 'Superwoman'. The message is that women need to hang on even when the going gets rough.
Crystal: Is that the real Alicia you write or is that an ideal woman?
Alicia: With 'Superwoman' that's the real Alicia. That's the real Alicia because it's like, there's a time when we as human beings we don't feel that great, you know? You wish you felt better but you feel a little frustrated or down or heavy or whatever. And that's when you need that type of song. And that's how I felt at the time when I wrote that song. And I needed that song.
Crystal: Do you have sort of like a role model?
Alicia: I have these great women around me every day that travel with me that are beautiful mothers or just beautiful women who are searching for themselves. Or, you know, my mother, who's definitely shown me what it is to be a woman, you know, through it all, ups and downs and good and bad. So I think those everyday people, everyday situations inspire me".
